She is passionate about creating stories that honor each child’s unique experience. “A Day in Hopkinsville” is her debut children’s book, inspired by real locations and local culture.There will be a Book Release Party 3-4 p.m. April 2 at Hopkinsville-Christian Co. Public Library, 1101 Bethel St.Copies of Frazier’s book “A Day in Hopkinsville” will be available for purchase.

Luke Bendick of Hopkinsville Community College will be at HCCPL at 5:00 on April 2 to talk about how the Constitution and Declaration of Independence work together as the USA’s foundation. This lecture will be followed by a Q & A session.

Shawn Gossman is the founder of Hiking with Shawn, an outdoor recreation media brand focusing mainly on hiking in the Shawnee National Forest and Southern Illinois state parks. Shawn was born and raised in Southern Illinois and resides near Metropolis. Shawn is an avid hiker, cyclist, kayaker, and shares his outdoor adventure experiences with his wife, Michelle.
